The oversized 8" speaker fits many of the current model vehicles as a direct fit replacement. The woofer cone is made of stiff, woven glass fibers and provide lightweight strength. The tweeters are Focal's own design, made from aluminum with an inverted dome design for greater sound dispersion. Plus, the tweeters rotate position within the cone, making it easy to dial in perfect imaging.
The ABS/Fiberglass basket assembly is light and strong, and has no resonance properties of its own, so it doesn't color the way the music sounds. The built-in crossover provides a smooth transition between the woofer's low frequencies and the tweeter's high.
